It raises the number of monsters that spawn to the max possible. The result of this is that there are tons of enemies to wade through. The kind of side-results are: 1. You level faster, which I for one like. You will be higher level than the monsters, but since there are so many of them it evens out the challenge.
Because you're a higher level, titan quest anniversary edition xmax mod download, monsters really go flying when you pound them which is really cool especially when you're using AOE spells.
You get more chances for sweet loot, because you're killing more monsters. It's really fun and to me feels like the way the game SHOULD have been it probably wasn't because you need a pretty good PC to have all those monsters on screen. The only downside is that the major bosses tend to be ridiculously hard, or just broken, so you usually have to switch to regular when you reach a boss which is not very often, so it's no big deal.
Difficulty wise, I'm not sure if it's easier or harder. If you're careful and keep your distance I think it would probably be a bit easier since you're a higher level.
