My nexus mod manager wont download mods

I click Add Mod from File as usual, but when I click on the mods I want they don't show up in the mod manager. Sometimes they do, but they show up in the download queue, and even though I click on the download button after I've highlighted the mods I want to download, they don't download even though it says the download is complete!

If theres stuff there then you could also try resetting the nmm ui. Its at the top in tools. After that Im not sure and I would say reinstall nmm. Small addition: I know you are clicking the add from file button. It could be that the manager doesnt have the mod directory set up and has no where to place the file.
Also, my nexus mod manager wont download mods, the mod needs to be in its archive still. Dont extract them and try to add the folder, just add the archive. It keeps your actual Skyrim directory clean and lets you adjust mods order better. There is no "installing in a certain order". If you install in the wrong order, you can simply drag it up the list with no issues. It essentially runs Skyrim in a sandbox. I don't know how NMM couldn't find them since they're right there. I opened up all the folders in the NMM, and only the Immersion and Unassigned folders have any mods in them, and the mods in those folders are ones I've had before, not the ones I listed above.

Also check the installation sections on the pages for the mods for any other things you may have to do for the mod to work proper.

Know im really late but at the bottom where it says download manager click on the mod my nexus mod manager wont download mods want first and then log in with your nexus account and it should work afterwards.
